Empowering Growth, Healing, and Resilience Through Compassionate, Evidence-Based Care
At InPractice Psychology, our approach to care is rooted in empathy, collaboration, and evidence-based practices. We believe that every individual is unique, and we tailor our interventions to meet each client’s specific needs, challenges, and goals. Whether you’re seeking therapy for yourself, your child, or your family, we are here to guide you with understanding and expertise.
Holistic and Client-Centered Care
We take a holistic approach to mental health, recognizing the interplay between emotional, behavioral, and environmental factors. Our team works closely with clients to understand their concerns, build on their strengths, and develop practical strategies for lasting change. We create a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard, supported, and empowered to take meaningful steps forward.
Evidence-Based Modalities
Our clinicians specialize in a range of proven therapeutic approaches, including:
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT): To help clients identify and reframe unhelpful thought patterns and behaviors.
Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT): For building skills in emotional regulation, interpersonal effectiveness, and distress tolerance.
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT): To support clients in embracing their thoughts and feelings while committing to behaviors aligned with their values, fostering psychological flexibility and well-being.
Supportive Parenting for Anxious Childhood Emotions (SPACE): To equip parents with tools to support their child’s anxiety while strengthening family relationships.
Trauma-Informed Care: To help clients process and heal from past experiences safely and effectively.
LGBTQ-Affirming Therapy: Providing inclusive care that respects and celebrates each client’s identity, ensuring they feel understood, valued, and supported.
Biofeedback Tools and Devices: Utilizing cutting-edge biofeedback technology to help clients gain awareness and control over physiological responses, such as heart rate, muscle tension, and breathing, improving stress management, focus, and overall emotional well-being.
Collaboration and Empowerment
We view therapy as a collaborative process. Our role is not to tell clients what to do but to guide and support them in discovering their own strengths and solutions. We empower clients to take ownership of their progress, fostering confidence and independence along the way.
Inclusive and Flexible Care
We are committed to creating an inclusive environment that respects each client’s background, culture, and identity. With options for in-person and virtual sessions, we ensure our care is accessible and adaptable to your lifestyle and needs.
